2 Channel Stereo Pre-Amplifier
A preamplifier must keep the audio signal as pure as possible, while amplifying and switching the various sources to the power amplifier. The Rotel RC-1580 is designed for the hi-fi purist in regards to keeping the design simple, and achieving the best sound as possible. Carefully hand selected parts such as their custom made over-sized toroidal power supplies and BHC slit foil capacitors are used for their musicality. There is also a "Home-Theater" bypass mode that allows a surround processor to run straight thru to the power amplifier and bypassing the preamplifier's volume control for the utmost in flexibility!

With a stunning new aluminum faceplate, this preamplifier features seven inputs, including a media input for a MP3 player or i-pod and a phono input for your turntable. The RC-1550 uses their custom made toroidal transformer and select grade slit-foil capacitors to make for a beautiful musical experience! There is a full function Rotel system remote included to control their CD player, tuner, or DVD player, as well as, two sets of main outputs for power amplifiers.
