The new amazing Rega P3-24 turntable was created for anyone that truly loves music! Based on the original Rega P3 turntable, the P3-24 has been redesigned from the ground up. Starting with the turntable's plinth or base is made from phenolic resin laminates, which gives the plinth a higher level of rigidity and is a considerable upgrade over the plinth used in the P2 turntable. The turntable's platter is made from floated plate glass, helping to keep the platter rotating at a constant steady and accurate speed. The turntable's drive motor is the same one used in Rega's P5 and P9 models. It is a high quality; low vibration motor that uses clever controlling circuitry that adjusts the phase angle of the motor coils that results from substantially lower vibration levels from the motor assembly. Also this turntable includes the Rega's TT-PSU, which is a high quality outboard power supply that was first developed for the Rega P-7 turntable. This will increase your musical enjoyment by conditioning the electrical supply with a synthesized, low-distortion crystal controlled AC power input.
